Sabrina's Track Meet

Sabrina went out for 7th and 8th grade Track. She signed up for the shot put, discus, and was asked to be on a 4 x 200 relay team with three 8th grade girls. Her first meet was in Spring Creek on Saturday. While at the meet they went ahead and signed her up for a 100 yd dash as well. (This is what her Dad and I thought she should be doing all along!) The Welch family has short legs and are good for short sprints. She came in 1st in her heat against 7th and 8th grade girls, and took 2nd place overall. Her relay team came in 3rd overall. Shot put she threw 19ft and discus 38.11 ft. So far she has really enjoyed it! Tara and Matthew enjoyed playing in the dirt and just hanging out.
